Our 10 best tips for a great Sverresborg day with your family!
1. Remember to wear shoes for walking! The outdoor area is one of the largest in Trondheim.
2. Bring a refillable water bottle. Or buy one here.
3. Take a map and plan where you want to spend your visit. Plan your visit according to the amount of time you have. Make sure to be back at the reception before closing time.
4. Consider bringing a change of clothes for children. Some of our exhibits include water, sand, water, gras and hay. Free ranging sheeps and goats.
5. Pack sunscreen and bug repellant.
6. Check the weather report before your visit! Rain gear, coats, or ponchos might be necessary.
7. Plan on eating while here? Enjoy food from our café or pack a light lunch to be enjoyed at one of our designated eating areas outdoors. Some benches an tables.
8. Or campus is large, so bring a stroller! We do have a limited number of wooden wagons available to rent.
9. Plan bathroom breaks before you explore the Museum. We have restrooms in the foajè and at multiple locations around campus. Diapers and wet vipes should be enclosed if using the outdoor garbage containers.
10. Don’t forget to take breaks! The Museum is a full-day experience (and more). Be sure to plan your DAY 2 FREE TICKET before you leave the museum. (Available from June 22nd)
