Bus: If you want to go by bus, you can take line no. 11, marked «Stavset» from downtown Trondheim (Kongens gate K1), you get off at bus stop «Trøndelag Folkemuseum». You can buy ticket on the bus.

By car: If you’re driving to the museum, just follow the traffic signs from E6 or the city centre. Parking is available by the main entrance of the museum. Free parking(5h).

By taxi: From the city centre the taxi will cost around 350 NOK.
