Main entrance and indoor exhibitions:
The entrance doors for the museum are automatic sliding doors to make sure the museum is wheel chair accessible. There are indoor elevators that covers the exhibition floors, and also the rest rooms and cafeteria.

Open air museum:
In the open air museum there are trails which makes the area accessible for wheel chairs. Please take notice that the trails are quite steep in some areas of the open air museum.

Outside there are mostly old and antique buildings. Unfortunately there are some steps in every house, which makes them difficult to access by wheel chair or walker.

Deaf or hard of hearing:
We can offer written material for all of our exhibitions. We also have some guided tours in sign language, in cooperation with Norsk Døvemuseum.

Blind or low vision:
We can offer guided tours for visually impaired, but these tours must be booked in advance.
