Bus: If you want to go by bus, you can take line no. 11, marked «Stavset» from downtown Trondheim (Kongens gate K1), you get off at bus stop «Trøndelag Folkemuseum».

By car: If you’re driving to the museum, just follow the traffic signs from E6 or the city centre. Parking is available by the main entrance of the museum.

By taxi: From the city centre the taxi will cost around 2-300 NOK.
